Vibratory Stress Relieving Procedure:-

Components are placed on rubber supports to allow for freedom of vibration and the exciter is attached. The operator scans the frequency range of the equipment (0 - 200hz), noting the feedback of the component's resonant responses. There are then dwelt at, on the sub-resonant base point and mid-height region of each response. The peak of each response is then traversed before progressing to the next.
